Iodination of beer "smart beer"
Iodine deficiency is one of the leading problems of the world community. This is reflected in the United Nation's documents and degrees of many big countries of the world.
The solution to this problem requires the expansion the production of iodine consumable products with the providing of natural iodine concentration that meets the concept of overcoming iodine deficiency.
Beer is a useful and popular product of consumption. Today beer is produced in mass from cereals that cannot provide the natural required iodine. This is the reason for intensive farming technology research.
Putting into consideration the huge beer consumption (second drinking water). We recommend the introduction of iodine, the main element of life, in drinking water as least in the normal level, (Sanitary Epidemic standards 2. 1.4. 1116 - 02, Russian Federation) for contents of iodine at the interval of 40 - 125 mkg/lt.
Laboratory research work and the trial production of iodize beer was carried out in "SARMAT" company Donetsk. The technology of introducing iodine concentrate in the process of beer production, the methodology of defining iodize beer was established.
The conclusive part was the production of 215 000 liters of beer "SARMAT light". The production of tasty beer and analysis research. Beer as in organoleptical indexes conforms with the standard indexes: smell and taste of iodine is not noticeable.
On the tasted party, the iodized beer remained within 22-25 mkg/ltr., and on the iodizes variants
- (In laboratory condition-two parties) 108mkg/ltr, 164mkg/ltr.
- (In production conditions-one party) 60mkg/ltr. It can be said that just "normal" or right "beer" which has a lot of other advantages was produced. From "normal" beer people do not grow fat but rather is guaranteed of having active protection from many problems of iodine deficiency in human organism, first of all, from "chronic tiredness", impotency, diabetes, intellectual tiredness (smart beer) on the first series and variety of problems linked with mal-function of clypeate irons.
Expenses on the iodizing of beer (under Ukrainian condition) is $0,01 (US Dollar) for every liter . This is one of the cheapest iodized consumption products that contain iodine in biological active form in the world.
